Welcome back to Horny Hump Day, a weekly hop where writers share three erotic sentences of a book or WIP. This week’s snippet comes right after last week’s, as long-separated couple Alina and Amiran are making love on their 14th anniversary. Because Amiran is still recovering from extensive injuries suffered at the hands of his Soviet jailers, plus the toll of escaping to Iran from Georgia on foot, they have to use the spoon position.
Luckily for them, their young daughter Tamar, Alina’s best friend whom she lives with, and her friend’s children are out of the house to give them some privacy. There are no worries about being too loud at this time!

Amiran responds by quickening his movements, which soon results in Alína curling her toes, clutching the bedsheet, and letting out the loudest, longest primal scream she’s ever uttered. She catches her breath as Amiran finishes up.
“You’re amazing,” Alína finally says, turning around to face him.

I think next week I’ll switch over to Lyuba and Ivan, the leading couple of my Russian historicals, particularly since I’m planning to indie publish my first Russian historical this year.
