Horny Hump Day—Jakob and Rachel

(Warning:  Not safe for work or appropriate for those under age 18!)

Happy 4th of July to all my American readers! I’m glad all of my ancestors on so many different branches of my family tree decided to come to this country, from my nine-greats-grandfather who was escaping Oliver Cromwell in the 1640s to my Slovakian great-grandpap who came here during World War I. Perhaps because of this, I love writing a story about new immigrants coming to America and adjusting to their new culture, including my current WIP, And the Lark Arose from Sullen Earth.

This week’s snippet for Horny Hump Day continues shortly after last week’s left off. Jakob, who recently came to America with his mother and his dog after he received an honorable discharge from the Royal Army of the Netherlands and got permission to immigrate, is celebrating his second wedding night with his wife Rachel. Because of his fear of creating a half-orphan, they didn’t have intercourse after their civil marriage in Holland, but now, in America, after their religious marriage, it’s finally able to happen.

But first, Jakob knows he has to warm up his bride and make sure she’s physically receptive. As his womanizing Army buddy Jeronymus has told him, what a man considers a side dish is often the main course for a woman.

Rachel shuddered as she felt his fingers exploring her secret place, and she obligingly opened herself up more to grant him greater access.  It was nice to have a husband who loved giving her pleasure instead of focusing only on himself.  Even better, he alternated touching her with partaking of her elixir as though it were the finest ambrosia.
